Special white paper, acid-free, self-adhesive, 50 g/m² hinging tape. Manufactured to the very highest technical standards. For fixing originals or prints on paper to mounts or backing boards
+ Acrylic adhesive is solvent free, acid free and phthalate-free, ageing-resistant, non-yellowing, permanently elastic and permanent. The acrylic adhesive gains strength overnight
+ The acrylic adhesive is buffered with CaCO3, slightly alkaline, so that damage to the art is not possible. It has sufficient buffer capacity to prevent acid decay
+ For sealing of backs of frame to keep out dust and mites
+ Gummed tapes can be risky to use with Giclee inkjet prints because of their water sensitivity. In these cases this high quality self-adhesive tape is a much safer alternative

Working with self-adhesive materials in a colder environment? When the temperature drops remember to let self-adhesive tapes, PVA glues, boards and mounting films come up to room temperature before using them. Keep them that way for a few hours after application while the adhesives cure.
